Internship: Diagnostic tests for XBeach

For my internship I am working on adding diagnostic tests to the skillbed of XBeach.

The first part of my internship contained reporting the state of the current skillbed and reporting what the future skillbed could look like.

In the second part I have designed a diagnostic test to test the avalanching module. The results of this tests showed why diagnostic tests are a major improvement of the current procedure, which I presented to the XBeach club.

In the upcoming time until the end of my internship I will rewrite my code in a more generic way and in Python instead of Matlab, therafter this will be transfered and implemented in Team City. At last a final report will be delivered containing all results and recommendations.

Herafter I am interested to do my graduation also on XBeach, but then on a different subject.
