Together with Van Oord, The Weather Makers, TU Delft and Deltares, we work are working on this project about the effect effects of a shallow foreshore as climate mitigation measures for a coastal structure. Both using physical model experiments and numerical simulation the effect of a shallow foreshore on the wave overtopping at a coastal structure . will be studied. Based on this knowledge the shallow foreshore as a climate adaption measure can be quantified and thereby applied in projects.
