Introduction

Importing and running a model

Import Coquitlam Vancouver network

1. Choose import from the file menu

1.browse to the folder containing the Coquitlam-Vancouver-Canada dataset, select the network.tp file to import the model

2. add map to the project, show network on the map (contained in model input)

Define discretization

3. rightclick on the map and select "Generate Computation Points" leave all defaults and click ok

Open the first input boundary condition

4. run model (cannot do this)

Create model from scratch

1. Add network

2. Add map
3. Drag network to map
2. Add branch
Select add new branch from the network editor toolbar

draw branch on the map
add cross section to the branch (failure)

Define cross section

Open cross section view
Edit cross section, set friction for cross section
Generate calculation grid
